CMAT exam 2023 will be held in April. The exam dates will be announced by the NTA in February 2023. CMAT registrations will begin along with the schedule announcement. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can register and fill the CMAT application form online at the NTA website for a fee of INR 2,000 (INR 1,000 for women and reserved category students).
CMAT exam will be conducted at over 100 cities across India at designated examination centres. Candidates planning to appear for CMAT 2023, must start the exam preparation at least six months before.
What is CMAT?
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an aptitude test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. The CMAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India. About 70,000 candidates appear for it every year. CMAT score is accepted by some of the top B-schools in India including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai and PUMBA. The CMAT question paper consists of 100 questions from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The total marks of CMAT is 400. CMAT is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the duration of the exam is three hours.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for CMAT, candidates must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The aspirant must have completed graduation in any discipline or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
- Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2023 but they will have to present the passing certificate at the time of admission.
- There is no minimum score percentage criteria in graduation for CMAT exam.

CMAT Registration Process 2023
The registration process of CMAT exam will be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT application form 2023 will available on the official website of CMAT-NTA (https://cmat.nta.nic.in/). Candidates are required to fill the online application form to appear for the exam. The CMAT registration cum application process includes the following steps:
- Online registration by entering name, date of birth, email ID and phone number
- Creating CMAT account and user ID by confirming registration via OTP/e-mail
- Filling the CMAT 2023 application from by furnishing personal and academic details
- Uploading passport size photo, scanned signature in prescribed format
- Payment of CMAT 2023 registration fees via credit/debit card or internet banking
CMAT Test Centres and Cities
CMAT exam 2023 will be held at multiple centres in 124 cities of India. Aspirants can choose from the list of cities, up to four locations as per their preference for taking CMAT 2023. The option to choose a city of one’s choice will be given to each candidate at the time of filling up the CMAT application form. Each aspirant can choose four cities as their preferred test city.
CMAT Exam Pattern and Syllabus
CMAT is an online exam in which 100 questions are asked from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension. General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Each question carries four marks there is negative marking of one mark for every wrong attempt. An optional section was introduced last year. CMAT Preparation 2023
Candidates planning to appear for CMAT exam 2023 must start the preparation early so that they get enough time to cover all the aspects of CMAT preparation. They must devise an exam preparation plan which should include:

CMAT Admit Card 2023
CMAT 2023 admit card will be released on the official website of the exam for candidates to download. Candidates who shall have registered successfully, will be able to download the CMAT admit card. Given below is the process to download CMAT admit card 2023 from the NTA website:

- Enter application number and date of birth or password

CMAT Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the CMAT 2023 exam must prepare well for not only the exam but also the exam day. Here are some points that you must keep in mind for the exam day:
Don’t forget to carry a print out of your CMAT admit card. Digital, scanned or photocopy of the admit card is not acceptable as a valid document.
Reach your CMAT exam centre at the reporting time mentioned in your admit card.
Do not carry electronic items to the exam venue. You are also advised to not carry valuable items.
Along with CMAT 2023 admit card, carry a photo ID as a secondary identity proof. You can carry any of the following documents as an ID proof:
Aadhar card
PAN card
Voter ID card
Passport
Driver’s license
College/University ID card
CMAT Answer Key 2023
CMAT answer key is released by the NTA on the exam website a week before the result announcement. The CMAT answer key comprises the CMAT question paper and individual response sheet. The test takers can download the CMAT 2023 answer key from the exam website by using their login credentials. Given below is the process to download CMAT answer key 2023:
- Log on to CMAT-NTA website
- Click on ‘CMAT 2023 Answer Key Download’
- Enter application number and date of birth or password
- Click on ‘Answer Key’ link reflecting on the dashboard
- Download the CMAT 2023 answer key
The NTA also offers the opportunity to challenge to official answer key. Under this provision, any candidate can challenge the official answer key by filling an online form and furnishing document to substantiate their claim. If the claim is found to be valid, the CMAT answer key will be revised. CMAT result and final answer key will be prepared after analyzing the objections received.
