NEET SS 2022: Result (Out), Dates, Cut off, Counselling, Syllabus, Pattern
NEET SS 2022 result has been declared on September 15. The result has been released online for candidates who appeared for the exam. NBE has uploaded NEET SS result 2022 for 13 super specialities or groups. Separate merit lists have been released for each speciality. Candidates have to visit the official website to check NEET SS 2022 result. Candidates need to score the minimum cut off percentile to qualify for the exam. It must be noted that the result will be valid for this academic session only. The minimum qualifying cut off is 50 percentile. Candidates could download the scorecard from the official website from September 22 onwards. Those who qualify for the exam will be participating in NEET SS 2022 counselling process for seat allotment. The exam was held on September 1 and September 2 in computer-based mode.
NBE has stated that the NEET SS 2022 questions were reviewed by experts from each speciality and a total of 19 questions were found to be technically incorrect. Full marks have been awarded to all candidates who appeared in the exam for these questions, irrespective of the fact whether these questions have been attempted or not attempted by the candidates.
What is NEET SS 2022?
NEET SS or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) is conducted by the National Board of Education for admission to various DM/ MCh courses. It is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to super speciality courses. According to the Indian Medical Council Act, 2016, no other entrance test is valid for admission to these courses. NEET SS is conducted annually in computer-based mode.

NEET SS 2022 Result
NEET SS 2022 result has been announced for those who appeared in the exam. The result for NEET SS 2022 has been released in merit list format in PDF documents for 13 broad specialities on the official website of NBE. NEET SS 2022 result comprises candidate’s roll number and the maximum marks scored by him/her. Candidates have to visit the official website of NBE to check the result. These results are handed over to the MCC, DGHS and MoHFW, the bodies responsible for NEET SS 2022 counselling. Candidates scoring 50th cut off percentile will be eligible for participating in NEET SS 2022 counselling process for seat allocation in DM/MCh courses.
NEET SS 2022 Cutoff
NEET SS 2022 cut off has been released along with the result on September 15 for each group. As per the information bulletin, the qualifying NEET SS 2022 cut off is 50 percentile. Cut off refers to the minimum score one has to obtain in order to qualify for the next round of admission, which is the counselling process. The NEET SS cut off 2022 score varies for each specialty. Obsterics and Gynaecology group has the highest cut off whereas Medical group ha the lowest NEET SS 2022 cut off.
NEET SS 2022 Counselling
The NEET SS counselling process is expected to begin in October. Only those candidates who would qualify for the exam by securing the cut off marks or ranks would be eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET SS 2022. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the counselling body of the NEET SS counselling 2022. Candidates will have to register themselves to participate in the counselling for NEET SS 2022. NEET SS counselling 2022 involves registration, choice declaration, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting.

NEET SS 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has prescribed the eligibility criteria for NEET SS 2022. Candidates who wish to apply for the entrance test are advised to go through the NEET SS 2022 eligibility criteria before filling the application.
- Candidate must possess a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/ Equivalent) from a recognised institution
- Candidates who complete their postgraduate degree on or before September 15, 2022, will be eligible for NEET SS 2022
- He/ she must be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council
NEET SS 2022 Admission Process

NEET SS 2022 Application Process
The application process for NEET SS 2022 started with the release of application form. Candidates had to register first by providing basic details such as name, date of birth, Email, mobile number to generate login credentials. Registration is mandatory to fill and submit NEET SS application form. Candidates must note that NBE only accepts online application form for NEET SS exam. Offline and and any other modes of applications are not be accepted for the exam. To complete the application process, candidates had to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 4250.
NEET SS 2022 Admit Card
Candidates who complete the application process within the given deadline specified by NBE are issued the admit card for the NEET SS exam. NEET SS 2022 admit card will be uploaded online and candidates will have to log in to the accounts created during the registration process to download it. The admit card will be issued on the official website of NBE. The admit card contains personal details and crucial information such as exam date, timing, name of the centre and its address, and guidelines. Candidates can download the admit card for NEET SS 2022 till the last date of the exam. But they are advised to download the hall ticket for NEET SS 2022 in advance and check all details carefully to avoid any last-minute hassle.
NEET SS 2022 Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates must report at least two hours prior to the commencement of the examination
- Candidates will have to undergo security checks, identity verification, image capture, and biometric verification
- Entry inside the examination hall will close 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination
- The following items are prohibited inside the examination hall
- Textual material, notes, pencil box, calculator, pen, eraser, etc.
- Mobile phone, earphones, Bluetooth, microphone, pager, etc.
- Ornaments like bracelets, rings, badge, brooch, etc.
- Bags, belt, wallet, goggles, etc.
- Eatables and beverages
NEET SS 2022 Pattern
NBE has released NEET SS 2022 pattern along with the information brochure on July 15. Candidates will find all details regarding the pattern in the information brochure uploaded on the official website. This year NBE has changed the pattern. NEET SS 2022 exam was held in computer-based mode on September 1 & September 2 in morning or evening shift. NEET SS 2022 question paper comprised 150 questions and time duration will be 2.5 hours.
NEET SS 2022 exam paper comprised questions from only broad specialty primary feeder this year. Each candidate could opt for any of the super specialty as per feeder subject, unlike last year, where each candidate opted for only two super specialties and the examination paper consisted of 60% questions from super specialty and 40% questions from feeder broad specialty.
